On behalf of all those who work on this website, contribute and visit, we have created a page specifically for Kathryn Morris' 42nd birthday. This project was run to show Kathryn our appreciation for all her hard work and talent. What better way to celebrate than on her birthday?

CHILDHOOD
Kathryn Morris was born on January the 28th, in the year of 1969. She was one of 6 children, and lived most of her childhood travelling around the US, singing in her family's gospel group called "The Morris Code". She was born in Ohio, but brought up in both Texas and Connecticut.
SCHOOL LIFE
Kathryn's school life was quite the ride. She attended the small high school of Winsdor Locks, where she took part in many plays, and had many roles of singing. Kathryn has stated that she is not the best singer, but clips show she definitely has strong musical talent. Those who attended school with her stated she was very down to earth and was friendly with everyone. She attended two different colleges in Philadelphia, Northeastern Christian College and Temple University.
EARLY CAREER:
Kathryn's career started off with her short role in the 1991 film, Long Road Home along side Mark Harmon, who she came to work with in the future again. It was the start of many other small roles in TV and film. Followed by roles in such films as Cool As Ice, Death Of A Cheerleader, Sleepstalker and TV roles in Murder, She Wroter, Silk Stalkings and Relativity. These small roles, and some bigger roles in little-known films, worked up to her big break.
Kathryn's big break was her big role in the TV series, Pensacola: Wings of Gold which came in 1998. Although it didn't put her out there on the A-list, it definitely got her known. Kathryn starred for the whole first season, playing Lieutenant Annalisa Lindstrom, a strong woman in the Naval Air Station in Pensacola. The character played with a feisty relationship with Lieutenant A.J. 'Buddha' Conaway, and Kathryn's character ended the series with starting a romantic relationship with A.J.
PRESENT CAREER:
After Kathryn's breakthrough with Pensacola: Wings Of Gold, she found herself scoring roles in Xena: The Warrior Princess, which she appeared in two episodes, followed by her appearances in another two episodes of The Magnificent Seven. When 2000 came, Kathryn starred in films that had more hype, such as Inherit the Wind, The Contender and Murder, She Wrote: A Story to Die For. She also scored a few roles where she played the main female lead, such as Hell Swarm, Role Of A Lifetime and And Never Let Her Go - which she appeared again with Mark Harmon.
After being noticed by Steven Spielberg in The Contender, Steven decided to cast her in the films Artificial Intelligence: AI and Minority Reports, alonside Tom Cruise. This ultimately lead to Kathryn being cast in the 2003 hit TV crime show, Cold Case.
Cold Case was Kathryn's biggest break. She played the lead role, Detective Lilly Rush - a smart, driven woman who investigates cold cases for a living. The show ran for 7 years, ending in 2010. This however, has not stopped Kathryn from working. She has now two films lined up for 2011, Couagrs, Inc. (formally known as Mother's Little Helpers), and Moneyball. Both look to be exciting films!
PERSONAL LIFE:
Kathryn is known to keep her personal life private for the public eye, as she likes to keep things on the low down. Over the past few years, Kathryn has had few partners that the press are aware of. One of her earliest known boyfriend's was a half Italian and half Chilean named Paul, who surfed for a living. She remarks that she had great times with him. After that, we are aware of Randy Hamilition. Randy was a financial advisor who Kathryn dated for a long period of time. He even proposed, and the two were engaged. When Cold Case started, Kathryn was engaged, but soon into the series, the two sadly split. Kathryn states they remain friends, probably because they didn't marry. Soon after David Barrett moved into the picture. David was a director who worked on Cold Case with Kathryn, and started a serious relationship through highly respecting each other's work. However, the relationship didn't last. After that, and in present time, Kathryn is now dating Johnny Messner. Johnny also worked with Kathryn on Cold Case, playing FBI agent Ryan Cavanaugh. The two shared a short kiss in a scene, in one of the very last episodes of Cold Case. Johnny and Kathryn had kept their relatipnship private until they were seen at a premiere together, raising suspiciouns of their relationship. Soon, a close friend came out and admitted the two were indeed dating.
Clearly, over the years Kathryn has improved and succeeded. We here at Kathryn Morris Fans, and all her fans over the world would like to wish her a Happy Birthday. Kathryn, you're a very special actress with a great amount of talent, beauty, and kindness. You bring something to Hollywood which is extremely hard to find. So thank you, for everything you have done that has made us adore you.

Hey Lily (lol)! Happy Birthday! So sorry I couldn't catch the last couple of seasons. I was forced to stop watching Cold Case when it started to come on at ten.
