The trailer for Sunday’s Mother has now been released. Looks great! Kathryn is looking incredibly gorgeous. There are a few clips involved showing Kathryn, and the trailer gives you a give rundown of her role in the movie. It’s great to see Kathryn back on the screen.
The trailer has been posted below, but you can also find it here on YouTube.
As we all know, or some of you may not, Danny Pino (Kathryn’s former co-star on Cold Case) has made his way back onto television on the cast of Law and Order: SVU, playing Nick Amaro. However, as many of you may not know, Danny joined Twitter a few months ago…
He was on the low line for a while, not posting so much as a tweet. However, since the premiere of SVU’s 13th season, he’s been more than friendly! Earlier last week, he was tweeting live with his fans while SVU aired.
So, all you Cold Case fans, jump on board of Twitter, and follow Danny. Let’s remind him we were fans from the start, and will always see him as Scotty Valens from Cold Case…who knows, you might be lucky enough to get a reply from our lovely second favourite detective.
Moneyball was released in the US over this weekend, and this comes with both good and bad news. The good news, is the movie has started off with a hit. The movie debuted with a earning of $20.6 million, coming in second at Box Office. The reviews also look good, many reporting the film to earn much more in future days, and 5 times their current amount by the end of the screenings.
The bad news, however, is the fact of Kathryn being cut out of the movie. Many have said they did not see Kathryn in the film, and speculate she was cut out of it. Unfortunate news for Kathryn and fans, though she may be seen in the deleted scenes on the DVD if lucky.
An artcile has appeared on Deadline, and a few other headline websites regarding a new drama Kathryn Morris is rumored to be starting from Lifetime network.
The drama, called Princess of Whales, is based on the true story of Marcia Hartman and follows the exploits of one of Las Vegas’ most successful casino hostesses, whose job is to bring in the super-high rollers and make them spend as much as possible. But her lavish lifestyle and life-of-the-party personality reveal a dark side that threatens to destroy her.
According to Deadline, Kathryn now has a production company called Revival House, and tracked down Marcia to get the rights to her story. “She is the most fascinating, complex female character we had seen,” said Morris, who has no plans to act on the potential series. It looks as though Kathryn won’t star, and will only produce.
Kathryn is co-opertaing with Stephen Kronish (from 24) to produce the new drama. Hopefully this will work out, and we’ll see more from Kathryn.
Firstly, our apology for the lack off updates that have not been going around lately. I myself have had a lot of personal and health issues to deal with, and still do. This means, updates have been a struggle. Thankfully, there hasn’t been much to update on. Kathryn seems to be shying away from the lime light.
However, there are a few bits and pieces on her short little film, Sunday’s Mother. Production images from behind the scenes were released on the official site. Nothing too fancy, just a few nice shots of Kathryn. You can find those here in the Gallery. They also released a few stills from the filming, which can be found here in the Gallery, which are not too bad at all.
Again, updating will still be off, but I promise to try and keep updated if important news is released on anything Kathryn.
After again confirming Kathryn’s role of Gillian (Sunday’s mother), and confirming July 8th for the date which the filming starts, Sunday’s Mother crew also provided information that the editorial is planned to end in September, which will be in time for the film to be submitted into all the top festivals for 2012. With past success with the current crew, we can only hope for the same with Sunday’s Mother.
The major news includes, the short film is planned to be aired at festivals worldwide! This includes Australia!
Cold Case has reached 1 million fans on Facebook! A little shout out to all the cast, crew, and our lovely Kathryn Morris for giving us a great 7 seasons of something amazing.
Don’t stop it now, join the Cold Case Official Facebook fan page to raise the fans to an even larger number!

It looks as though Kathryn is extending her film career with another movie. This time, she is starring in short film called Sunday’s Mother.
We can across the site of Titan Pictures, and noticed Kathryn was down to star as Gillian in the movie Sunday’s Mother. Written by Aaron Jackson, who has created many short films, and been awarded with many prizes for the films, the story bases on a young teenager named Sunday, and his mother.
“Film Synopsis:Sunday’s Mother is a short film about a young teenager, named Sunday, who moves to a new city with his single mother, Gillian. But before Sunday can adjust to his new life, he is confronted by Roger, the school bully, who claims he has a disturbing secret about his mom. And he’ll tell everyone if Sunday doesn’t pay up…”
The whole idea and website did seem a bit sketchy, seemingly it still does, but after contacting Aaron himself, it looks as though this is more than real, as he confirmed her role. Kathryn is attached to play Gillian. More details have shown that Sunday’s bully Roger, claims to have slept with Gillian. Filming will begin on July 8th.
The film is a short film, which could explain not being listed on IMDb, but Aaron’s previous work is listed, which makes it seem a little odd. Aaron’s previous short films have been played at film festivals, which is also the plan for this small film. To help the film get funded, please donate here.
The official Moneyball theatrical trailer has now been released…
There’s not much more to add to this. The trailer is basically the likes of what Entertainment Tonight aired, with a few added scenes that skim past. Again, no sign of Kathryn. However, the only actor mentioned is Brad Pitt, so the casting is still unknown.
The broadcast of Entertainment Tonight has just aired, and the exclusive preview of Moneyball was definitely not disappointing for Brad Pitt fans. But sadly, it looks as though Kathryn Morris fans are not as happy.
The first look had no mention of our lovely lady. It focused mainly on Brad, and his character of Billy Beane. They showed a few baseball centered scenes, and a small scene of Brad with his on-screen daughter. A bit of talk about Brad and Angelina Jolie was also thrown in. No Kathryn – no scenes, no mention of her.
This is somewhat bad news for Kathryn, as it doesn’t exactly confirm whether or not her scenes are still in the movie. We’ll have to wait for more information on the movie to see if she is starring.
The video of the Moneyball coverage can be found on our NEWYouTube channel, KathrynMFans. The video has also been posted below.
